For our latest EP, called ''Electric Visions'' we've revisited the sounds that shaped our younger years, fusing the infectious rhythms of west-coast hip-hop, the mysticism of psychedelic rock, and the solid grooves of deep house.
The result is a sound that's warm and dreamy, yet undeniably bold. The tracks resonate with a feeling that’s both grounded and transcendent. We’ve ventured beyond the tangible, drawing subtle inspiration from our own altered perceptions, shaping a soundscape where soulful guitar riffs meet the classic vibes of an analog 303. Electric Visions represents a bridge from cherished memories to boundless horizons.
End of Time doesn’t approach music traditionally. Instead of songs or beats, they craft sonic-scapes using ambisonic technology. This allows them to incorporate space into their compositions, akin to tones and harmonies. To establish this immersive audio environment, they employ a speaker array that surrounds and immerses the audience in an ambisonic sphere. This sphere resonates with harmonic frequencies tuned to the planets and the visible light spectrum's colors, facilitating deeper introspection for listeners within this field.
End of Time is the resident spatial act at The Other Side, a groundbreaking club in Amsterdam that boasts the world's first fully customized spatial audio speaker system. The venue features 22 state-of-the-art L-Acoustics speakers, driven by specialized spatial audio processors for a genuinely multi-dimensional musical journey. With numerous spatial performances under their belt and collaborations with artists from various disciplines such as classical harp, Arab traditional song and violin, End of Time is at the forefront of this emerging multidimensional music genre.
